Pastor Ed received his Master of Divinity degree from
Oral Roberts University School of Theology and Missions in 1988, and was recognized by the faculty as Master of Divinity Student of the Year. He earned his undergraduate degree from Centre College in DanvilleKentucky, in 1985. Prior to coming to Victory, Pastor Ed served United Methodist congregations in Oklahoma, where he also directed the Oklahoma United Methodist Task Force for Hispanic Ministry.

Worship Arts Pastor

Dan Cogan came on staff in September of 2007 as Victory's Worship Arts Pastor. Dan has been trained through Master’s Commission of Rockford, Illinois. He was mentored by worship leader and Grammy-nominated artist Sarah Kelly. Sarah gives Dan her highest recommendation, stating that she felt God gave her a glimpse of some of the great ways God wants to work through Dan. We are blessed to receive the benefits of that work of God. Besides his musical abilities, Dan is a skilled, self-taught graphic artist. His heart for worship and creative abilities are certainly assets beyond Sunday mornings.

Dan and his wife Amy met as competitors on opposing youth Bible Quiz teams (it pays to know your Bible!) and got married in November 2006. Amy is the daughter of an Assemblies of God pastor.

Church Administrator

Marian Knechel coordinates our HUGS (Hospitality, Ushers, Greeters and Special Events) Ministry Team along with her husband, Al. Members of Victory Christian Fellowship since 1989, Al and Marian have individually and together served in various leadership positions including Small Group Ministry, Men's and Women's Ministry, and Stewardship Team. Marian, who received a Ph. D. in organic chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania in 1985, has transferred her passion for formulating chemical products into coming up with recipes for creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for all people to experience God's presence at every worship service and special event. Desiring to be more like the first church described in Acts 2:42-47, Marian believes fully that the breaking of bread and fellowship with Him and others should take place at every event. Therefore, plan on being fed spiritually as well as physically whenever you attend Victory! Al and Marian have four children.
