Africa Mission Outreach
December 5-14, 2009
On November 30, 2009, I will fly to Tel Aviv, Israel, to join a team of young Israeli believers led by Pastor Ron Cantor of Messiah's Mandate. The team will then travel to a remote region of Nigeria to conduct outreach ministries that planners fully expect to reach tens of thousands of people with the Good News of Jesus the Messiah. We are confident that in this area with a significant Muslim population God will show up in power!
One of the primary purposes of the trip is to expose young, Israeli Jewish leaders who are followers of Jesus to the awesome miracles that God is doing in Nigeria. Those Jewish leaders will then return to Israel with a fresh empowerment to proclaim Jesus as Messiah. I am going on this mission with much the same purpose: to return to the Philadelphia area with a new level of faith for the miracles that will enable our church to reach our region for Jesus.
In fact, about two years ago I felt that God was urging me to go to Africa so that He could build up my faith level for miracles. I have explored a few opportunities, but nothing seemed to fit--until I read of Ron Cantor's experience in Africa last year. Without knowing the purpose of Ron's next mission to Africa, I asked if I could join him. Obviously, this trip seems tailor made for God's plan!
A particularly exciting aspect of this trip is that it involves touching three regions for Christ. First, the people we minister to in Nigeria. Second, the people our church will reach with a new level of power upon my return. Third, by serving and encouraging the Israeli young adults I will be accompanying, we will be blessing Israel! And God blesses those who bless Israel.
I really need your help to do this. For this mission to have God's intended impact, I, Ron Cantor, and the team, need your prayer support. We also need your financial support. Victory has already made a significant financial contribution to Ron's team. I need you to support the expenses of my trip as well--at least $3,000 for food, flights, lodging, etc. I am absolutely certain that the return for Victory will be well worth it.
