The Alpha course is a Christian outreach/evangelistic program that gives people from any background, religion or viewpoint the opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, unintimidating setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, plus a day or weekend away. Alpha provides a low-key, friendly, and fun environment for people to seek answers to some of life’s perplexing questions and build genuine friendships with people, while enjoying great meals once a week. It is supported by all the main Christian denominations in over 163 countries.
