Victory serves at ChristmasYou can be a part of blessing the needy in our area at Christmas
What better time to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ than at Christmas. In the midst of shopping, wrapping, eating, and celebrating, we as a church remember the most needy. On Christmas Day, Victory will serve dinner at Family House, Building 53, and at the Peer Resource Center - all in Norristown.
People are needed to decorate and cook beforehand. People can help by setting up the sites, serving this delicious food, talking to the people, praying for people, singing, or cleaning up. You and your family can sign up for a time slot. Visit the Norristown Christmas outreach kiosk in the Victory lobby or see Donna Thompson or Aisha Bank for more information.
Tree of Hope
There is a small, lighted tree by the youth kiosk in the Victory lobby called the Tree of Hope. On this tree you will find numbers which correspond to a name. Victory has committed to giving over 170 gifts this Christmas to those on the Tree of Hope. Some gifts are for the children of Aclamo, a social outreach to the latinos of Norristown. Some gifts are for adults in need in the Norristown community. Victory will be taking these gifts to Aclamo before Christmas and giving the children Christmas parties. You can offer a symbol of hope to precious people in our area this Christmas season. Gifts are due back at Victory by Wednesday, December 16.
I am available to help on Christmas Day.
